RETAIL INFORMATION
The Village Tennis Center Pro Shop is a full-service tennis retail establishment that sells racquets, strings, grips, accessories, apparel and shoes.
We carry all the latest Wilson, Prince and Head racquets. Don’t have the grip size or model you’re looking for? Please let us special order it for you at no extra cost. Remember, all new racquet purchases are about $20 below the suggested retail price and also comes with free synthetic gut string ($20 value), thus saving you around $40!
Not sure which racquet to purchase? We have demos in all our frames, so please feel free to use one the next time you are here to play. Cost is just $3 per use (court fee is extra). Looking for something more affordable? We sell our demos from time to time, so a great deal can be had for less than $100.
Regarding string and grip; we have USRSA Master Racquet Technicians (MRT) on staff to help you get the most out of that new frame or to b ring new life to your existing one. MRT is the highest designation with the U.S. Racquet Stringer’s Association and there are only 21 in Texas! Stringing prices range from approximately $20 to $40 (depending on your string choice) or for a $15 labor-only charge, we’ll use your own string. Is your existing grip looking and feeling worn? Bring your racquet to the Pro Shop - we can replace the grip that came with your racquet (around $7), or simply put an overgrip (about $5 for a 3-pack) on top of it to help absorb the sweat during those hot Texas summers.
