ADULT GROUP CLASSES
The Village Adult Tennis Program is supervised by USPTA-certified tennis professionals. The program is a structured, progressive system for all players. Private lessons are also available. CLASSES

ALL CLASSES meet once a week for one hour for six weeks. Minimum student / teacher ratio is 4:1, while the maximum ratio is 8:1. The BEGINNING CLASS is for players who have never taken lessons before. The class will be an introduction to the development of fundamental strokes as well as scoring. The ADVANCED BEGINNING CLASS is for players who have played some, but still need more work on the fundamentals. The class emphasis will be on stroke reinforcement with time spent on movement.

ALL PRACTICE AND PLAYS meet once a week for an hour and a half for six weeks, with the first hour spent on drills and the last half hour concentrating on match play and strategies. Minimum student / teacher ratio is 6:1, while the maximum ratio is 10:1. The ADVANCED BEGINNERS will consist of moderate paced drills combined with continued stroke development. The INTERMEDIATES will refine stroke technique using interactive drills. The ADVANCED group will emphasize doubles strategies using fast paced drills.

MAKE-UP POLICY
Unfortunately, no make-up classes (due to illness, working late, or otherwise) will be allowed in order to maintain consistent student-teacher ratio throughout each class in the session. However, classes may be rescheduled or added-on due to inclement weather only (see "bad weather policy" below)
REFUND POLICY
No refunds for any missed classes.
BAD WEATHER POLICY
In case of rain, or if the temperature/wind chill is below 40 degrees, please call the tennis center one hour before scheduled class time to find out if class will be held. If a class is cancelled, another week will be added at the end of the session
